Liu Biao, Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Overseas Chinese Federation, visited the Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association for an exchange

On the afternoon of September 9th, Liu Biao, Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Overseas Chinese Federation, led a delegation to visit the Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association for a symposium. Sun Jianwei, President of the Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association, warmly received the delegation.

At the meeting, President Sun Jianwei first emphasized the role of the Business Association as a bridge and link. He stated, “The Business Association aims to promote information exchange and cooperation among members, actively encourage resource sharing, and help enterprises move forward steadily in intense market competition. We adhere to the principles of financial transparency and openness of association affairs, ensuring compliant management and legal registration, providing a solid and reliable support for our members.” President Sun Jianwei also expressed his commitment to further promoting the deep integration of China-Malaysia economic, trade, and cultural exchanges, contributing to the realization of a mutually beneficial and win-win vision for both countries.

Chairman Liu Biao, in his speech, highly affirmed the achievements of the Business Association over the past five years and pointed out, “Integrated development is the best development state for the Business Association. To succeed in ‘going global,’ enterprises must actively integrate into the local society, comply with local laws and regulations, and work with the local Chinese community to promote deeper economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Malaysia.” He emphasized that the Chinese community is an important bridge for friendly cooperation between the two countries. With the Chamber’s increasing influence, Malaysia, as a country full of opportunities and a mature market, will provide a vast space for more Chinese enterprises to grow.

Regarding the new normal of the global economy, Chairman Liu Biao further elaborated on the Business Association’s support for enterprise transformation and upgrading, as well as export trade: “In the current context of global economic integration, transformation, upgrading, and export trade have become important directions for enterprise development. The Overseas Chinese Affairs Office will fully support businesses going abroad, providing support and assistance to ensure their steady development in overseas markets.”

After the meeting, President Sun Jianwei accompanied the Jiangsu Provincial Overseas Chinese Federation delegation to visit the Malaysian Chinese Entrepreneurs Business Association. The President of the Malaysian Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Tan Sri Dato’ Low Kian Chuan, warmly welcomed them. Both sides held in-depth discussions on cultural exchange and friendly relations between the people of the two countries.

This exchange strengthened the cooperative ties between the Jiangsu Provincial Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and the Malaysian Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association, providing a more solid platform for promoting China-Malaysia economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchange. Both sides expressed their intention to use this opportunity to further deepen friendly cooperation and jointly create a new chapter in China-Malaysia friendly relations.

The leadership of the Jiangsu Provincial Overseas Chinese Affairs Office delegation attending this meeting also included: Vice Secretary-General Feng Weikuan, Chairman of the Nantong City Overseas Chinese Affairs Office Cai Hongwei, Director of the Fellowship and Liaison Department Liu Fang, and Deputy Director of the Cultural Exchange Department Wang Haibo. From the Malaysian Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association, the attending members included: Executive Vice President Lyu Yongxiang, Executive Vice President Sun Keqiang, Vice President Fu Qiang, and Vice Secretary-General Dai Zhihua.
