From May 18 to 19, 2023, before the third Jiangsu Development Conference, the Global Jiangsu Business Association Working Conference was grandly held in Nanjing, hosted by the Jiangsu Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce).
The conference was presided over by Liu Jun, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Jiangsu Federation of Industry and Commerce. Important speeches were given by Hu Jianlin, a member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, and Liu Cong, a Standing Committee Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of the Jiangsu Federation of Industry and Commerce, who presented the work report of the Global Jiangsu Business Association Working Committee.
During the conference, the following decisions and announcements were made:The decision regarding the adjustment of the members of the Global Jiangsu Business Association Working Committee was read; The recognition decisions for Outstanding Jiangsu Business Associations and Jiangsu Business Association Annual Contribution Figures were announced; Highlights of the Global Jiangsu Business Association’s work were published, and medals and trophies were awarded; Plaques were presented to the “Four Good” Business Associations at the national and Jiangsu provincial levels for the 2021-2022 period.
The Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association was invited to attend the conference. It stood out among over 100 Jiangsu business associations globally and was awarded the title of “Outstanding Jiangsu Business Association.” Additionally, Executive President Sun Jianwei was honored with the title of “Annual Contribution Figure.”
