The Malaysian Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association was awarded the title of “2024 Global Jiangsu Business Association Highlighted Work”

From November 17th to 18th, the “Two-Way Pursuit: ‘Su’ Writing a New Chapter” 2024 Global Jiangsu Business Association Working Conference Series was held in Changsha, Hunan. 23 representatives from Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association around the world, along with nearly 200 representatives from Jiangsu Chambers of Commerce across China, gathered to explore new opportunities for cooperation and inject new momentum into the future development of Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association.

On the 17th, the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce held the event titled “Overseas Business Opportunities, Direct Access Across the Sea” — the 2024 Overseas Jiangsu Business Association Economic and Trade Dialogue (Changsha Station). Liu Cong, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and President of the Provincial General Business Association, and Liu Jun, Vice Minister of the Provincial United Front Work Department and Secretary of the Party Group of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, met with the attendees. Xiong Jie, a member of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, also attended the event and delivered a speech.

This event attracted 23 representatives from overseas Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association across more than 10 countries and regions, including Australia, Peru, Germany, and Malaysia. The representatives introduced the investment environment and trade opportunities in their respective countries, and engaged in face-to-face discussions with over 30 domestic Jiangsu entrepreneurs and Hunan business leaders. They shared their overseas investment experiences, explored cooperation opportunities, and reached over 10 investment intentions on the spot.

During the event, Sun Jianwei, President of the Malaysian Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association, delivered a speech and reported on the key work of the Business Association in Malaysia over the past year. The Business Association has not only built a communication bridge between the government and enterprises, focusing on industrial development and aiming to precisely match industry needs, but has also conducted investment promotion activities, helping member enterprises seek development opportunities. It has actively promoted economic, trade, and cultural exchanges between China and Malaysia, achieving notable results. Additionally, he suggested that, under the guidance of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Business Association will further explore the potential for collaboration with ASEAN-based Jiangsu businesses and work to enhance the influence of Jiangsu business organizations in Southeast Asia.

On the 18th, the “Two-Way Pursuit: ‘Su’ Writing a New Chapter” 2024 Global Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association Working Conference was officially held. The conference was organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Jiangsu Provincial General Chamber of Commerce, and the Global Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce Working Committee. Hui Jianlin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He emphasized that Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association in various regions should seize the momentum of high-quality development, actively promote the transformation and upgrading of enterprises, and at the same time, earnestly fulfill their social responsibilities, contributing to social fairness and common prosperity.

At the meeting, Liu Cong, Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, delivered a work report, reviewing the achievements of the Jiangsu Chambers of Commerce over the past year. He urged Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association in various regions to grasp the correct direction for organizing their activities, strengthen the internal construction of the Business Association, stay focused on the development of the homeland, align the Business Association’s development with the pace of national reform, carefully plan the development direction, define the Business Association’s positioning, and build a first-class Business Association organization with Chinese characteristics.

Liu Jun, while presiding over the meeting, stated that the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce will further optimize the development ecosystem for Jiangsu Business Association and Jiangsu businesses, expand the global network of Jiangsu Business Association, unite and serve the development of overseas Jiangsu businesses, and maintain the overall image of Jiangsu businesses. He emphasized the need to amplify the “golden brand” effect of Jiangsu businesses and strive to create a first-class cluster of Jiangsu Chambers.

Sun Jianwei, President of the Malaysian Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association, was also invited to deliver a speech on behalf of overseas chambers. He shared the Business Association’s successful experience in guiding Jiangsu enterprises to integrate into the Malaysian market under the Belt and Road Initiative. He also expressed that, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia, the numerous high-level visits and talks between the leaders of both countries will lead to a continuous deepening of China-Malaysia relations, with economic and trade cooperation reaching new heights. As the only Jiangsu association in Malaysia, the Malaysian Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association will continue to strengthen its roots locally, actively support Jiangsu enterprises in exploring development opportunities in Malaysia, help more enterprises “go global” and integrate smoothly into the local market, and play a bridging role in promoting China-Malaysia bilateral economic and trade cooperation, making tangible contributions.

The successful holding of this series of meetings marks a new step for the global Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association in supporting the domestic private economy’s “go global” efforts and connecting international resources. The contributions and efforts of the Malaysian Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association in building the Jiangsu business community in both China and Malaysia have also been recognized and supported by the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce. This event was awarded the honor of “2024 Global Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association Highlighted Work”.
