The Nanjing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) delegation visited Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association and expressed their earnest expectations

On July 30, Vice Chairman Wu Weiguo of the Nanjing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) led a delegation to Malaysia, marking the start of a three-day visit and exchange aimed at further strengthening economic and trade cooperation as well as cultural exchanges between Nanjing and Malaysia.

On the first day of the visit, the delegation visited Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association, where they were warmly received by President Sun Jianwei. The exchange and discussion session, hosted by Secretary-General Ye Langheng, proceeded smoothly, with both sides engaging in in-depth discussions on promoting bilateral economic and trade cooperation between Malaysia and Nanjing.

President Sun Jianwei introduced the situation in Malaysia and the Association, emphasizing in his speech, he mentioned : “The Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association has been committed to promoting bilateral economic and trade exchanges. We actively support Chinese enterprises in their ‘going global’ efforts while also working hard to introduce high-quality resources from Malaysia. Additionally, we actively organize patriotic activities to enhance the sense of belonging and social responsibility among our members. Moving forward, we hope to leverage the results of Chairman Wu’s visit to Malaysia to actively implement and support Nanjing’s efforts in various areas in Malaysia. We aim to tell the stories of Jiangsu and Nanjing well and serve as a bridge and link.”

Vice Chairman Wu Weiguo highly praised the contributions of the Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association in promoting Sino-Malaysian economic and trade cooperation, uniting Jiangsu entrepreneurs, and enhancing communication. He emphasized: “The primary purpose of this visit is to unite and consolidate various forces to jointly advance deep cooperation between Nanjing and Malaysia in multiple fields. Chinese-style modernization is a path of peaceful development. We hope that this visit will not only strengthen exchanges and cooperation between Nanjing, Jiangsu, and Malaysia but also promote the construction of a community with a shared future for humanity through peaceful, development-oriented, cooperative, and win-win approaches.”

The visit of the Nanjing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) delegation has laid a solid foundation for future in-depth cooperation between the two regions in areas such as economy and culture. It is not only a significant step in deepening the friendship and promoting economic and trade cooperation between the two regions but also a valuable opportunity to advance cultural exchanges between China and Malaysia and enhance mutual understanding between their peoples.

The discussion and exchange were attended by Nanjing CPPCC delegation leaders including Liu Junming, Director of the CPPCC Member Work Committee; Qian Weibing, Vice Chairman of the Nanjing Federation of Industry and Commerce; Zhu Qijun, Deputy District Chief of Gaochun District; and Zhang Wenfeng, Director of the CPPCC Member Work Committee Office.
