On November 8th, 2024 (Friday), Zhou Jun, Vice Chairman of the Suzhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) of Jiangsu Province and Chairman of the Suzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce, led a delegation from the Suzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce to visit the Business Association. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on investment cooperation between the two regions, opening up more potential opportunities for future collaboration.

The discussion was warmly hosted by Vice President Guo Jianfeng on behalf of President Sun Jianwei. President Guo introduced the background and development history of the Business Association, elaborating on its mission and achievements as a platform for exchange and cooperation between Jiangsu Province and Malaysia.
Vice President Benjamin Ong provided a detailed introduction to the overall situation of Malaysia and its rich investment opportunities, explaining the potential advantages and appeal of the local market.
During the discussion, both sides held in-depth talks on topics related to setting up factories and real estate investment in Malaysia. The Association representatives provided the delegation with a detailed explanation of various policy supports in Malaysia, including approval processes, tax incentives, land arrangements, and infrastructure support. This helped the delegation gain a comprehensive understanding of the potential opportunities and practical aspects of investing in Malaysia. Regarding real estate investment, both sides discussed current market trends, investment returns, future development prospects, and shared experiences and potential risks related to commercial and residential real estate projects.
At the end of the meeting, Chairman Zhou expressed sincere gratitude for the warm reception and shared his hopes for further deepening cooperation between the two sides. He emphasized the desire to strengthen the connections between the two regions through this exchange, promoting vigorous development in the fields of economy and trade, and achieving mutual benefit and win-win results.
Finally, both sides took a group photo in the Association’s VIP room, marking a successful conclusion to the fruitful exchange.
