Sun Jianwei, Executive President of Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneur Business Association, together with leaders from the Haizhou District People’s Government of Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, visited Malacca for a fruitful meeting with Datuk Lim Ban Hong, the Investment and China Affairs Advisor to the Chief Minister of Malacca and the Malacca Special Envoy to China. During the meeting, both parties had an in-depth discussion on cooperation agreements between the two regions and reached several consensus points.
In the meeting, Executive President Sun Jianwei, on behalf of Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneur Business Association, expressed his gratitude to Datuk Lim Ban Hong. He emphasized that Jiangsu Province and Malacca State have a special friendly relationship and shared values from a historical perspective. Leaders from the Haizhou District People’s Government shared their experiences in industrial development and innovation cooperation, expressing their high regard and strong desire for collaboration with Malacca. They emphasized the importance of strengthening close cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, and culture, expressing their willingness to deepen friendly exchanges with Malacca.
Datuk Lim Ban Hong thanked Executive President Sun Jianwei and the leaders from the Haizhou District People’s Government for their visit and welcomed the exchange meeting. He emphasized that Malacca has always maintained an open and inclusive attitude and is willing to provide support and favorable conditions for cooperation between the two regions. He also pointed out that the cooperation between the two sides would bring new opportunities for promoting collaboration between Malacca and Haizhou District.
During the exchange meeting, the parties had an in-depth discussion on economic cooperation, cultural exchanges, and talent development, reaching cooperation intentions. Both sides agreed that this exchange meeting would inject new vitality into the friendly cooperative relationship between Malacca and Haizhou District, contributing positively to the common prosperity and stability of both regions.
