From July 25 to 27, the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre successfully hosted the “2024 Selangor International Business Summit and the 4th Selangor Industrial Park Exhibition”. The summit aimed to gather global wisdom and capital to advance a new chapter in industrial development for Selangor, Malaysia, and the ASEAN region. Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association, as a crucial bridge for Sino-Malaysian economic and trade exchanges, actively participated in the event with member enterprise representatives.
On the first day of the event, Sun Jianwei, President of Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association, who is also the Chairman of Mah Sing South Sea Industrial Development S/B, and Vice President Benjamin Ong, CEO of Mah Sing South Sea Industrial Development S/B, attended the opening ceremony. They joined entrepreneurs and industry elites from around the world to engage in in-depth discussions about new opportunities and challenges in Malaysia’s industrial development. The “Mah Sing South Sea Industrial Park,” a joint project of Mah Sing Group and The South Sea Capital, was one of the highlights of the summit due to its international platform construction concept, active promotion of Sino-Malaysian bilateral trade, and vision for high-tech industry development. The exhibition attracted numerous inquiries from Chinese and other ASEAN countries’ enterprises and investors, showing strong interest in cooperation.
Additionally, the event was graced by government officials including Selangor Chief Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin Bin Shari, Minister of International Trade and Industry YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Selangor State Executive Councillor YB Tuan Ng Sze Han, Selangor Investment Promotion Agency CEO YBhg. Dato’ Hasan Azhari Bin Hj. Idris, and Sepang Municipal Council Chairman YBhg. Dato’ Haji Abd. Hamid bin Hussain. President Sun and Vice President Benjamin Ong personally received the visiting guests, providing detailed introductions to the industrial park’s overview, planning, and future vision. The industrial park received high praise and support from the leaders, and the atmosphere in the exhibition hall was vibrant.

On the afternoon of the 26th, representatives from member enterprises of Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association, including Liu Qianyuan, Chairman of JLS Advisory Sdn. Bhd., and Walter Lee, Executive Director of AWE Building Hardware Sdn. Bhd., visited specially to discuss Malaysia’s real estate investment issues with President Sun Jianwei. As a representative of Chinese entrepreneurs, President Sun emphasized that on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia and the deepening of the Belt and Road Initiative, the Mah Sing South Sea Industrial Park will fully commit to providing comprehensive and customized outbound services for Chinese enterprises, helping them reduce investment costs and seize the golden opportunities for bilateral cooperation.

The successful hosting of this summit not only highlighted the strong economic vitality and investment potential of Malaysia, particularly Selangor State, but also showcased the active role of member enterprises of Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association in advancing Sino-Malaysian economic and trade cooperation. Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association will continue to leverage its advantages, create more platforms for exchange, and promote comprehensive cooperation between China and Malaysia in trade, culture, and other fields, aiming to achieve a win-win situation for both countries.
