On November 16, 2023, to promote trade exchanges between Jiangsu Province and Malaysia and strengthen the cooperation between enterprises from both regions, six senior professionals from Jiangsu’s catering industry held a productive exchange meeting with representatives from Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association. The meeting aimed to advance cultural exchange, expand business channels, and jointly explore development opportunities in the catering industry.
Firstly, Executive Vice Secretary-General Tan Say Cheong welcomed the Jiangsu service trade and catering enterprises on behalf of Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association. Each enterprise representative introduced themselves and expressed heartfelt thanks for the reception. Secretary-General Sun Keqiang then provided an overview of the Association’s history, mission, goals, and activities.
Following this, Executive President Sun Jianwei spoke about the Association’s entrepreneurs’ nostalgia and love for hometown cuisine, shared insights on the demand in the Malaysian catering market and discussed business expansion opportunities. He also introduced the agenda for the 2023 Malaysia-China Catering Conference, ensuring that the attending representatives were well-informed about the event’s details.
The representatives from both sides shared experiences and exchanged viewpoints, laying a solid foundation for future commercial cooperation. Finally, Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association awarded certificates to representatives from Yanghe Distillery Co., Ltd. and Bi Shui Yuan, and took a commemorative group photo with all the catering enterprise representatives.
