Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association has appointed Chen Kai, Chairman of Jiangsu Azure Corporation as the Honorary President of the Association

In accordance with the resolution of the second meeting of the Second Executive Committee held by the Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association on June 4, 2024, the Association has decided to appoint Mr. Chen Kai, Chairman of Jiangsu Azure Corporation, as the Honorary President of the Second Term of the Association.

Recently, Sun Jianwei, President of Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association officially conferred the appointment of Honorary President to Chairman Chen Kai, in recognition of his contributions to the Malaysian new energy industry.

Jiangsu Azure Corporation has invested up to $280 million (approximately 1.3 billion Malaysian Ringgit) in Malaysia to establish the first phase of its TENPOWER lithium-ion battery manufacturing plant in Wanjin, creating 750 job opportunities. The establishment of TENPOWER will actively promote the development of lithium battery technology in Malaysia and drive innovation and progress across the entire industry chain. This initiative is expected to attract more lithium battery supply chain enterprises to invest in the region, forming a virtuous cycle of industry ecosystem development. TENPOWER Malaysia is one of the key overseas projects for Jiangsu enterprises and a significant achievement of the close cooperation between China and Malaysia.

Chairman Chen Kai stated that he will work closely with the Association, actively participate in economic and trade cooperation between the two regions, build bridges for more enterprises, and advance Sino-Malaysian economic and trade cooperation to new heights.
