From January 15 to February 12, 2025, the Malaysia-Northwest China Chamber of Commerce, the Malaysia Chinese Restaurant Association, Jiangsu Provincial Construction Group Co., Ltd., and Suzhou Dahua Group engaged in Spring Festival exchange activities with the Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association. These discussions focused on industry resource integration and cross-border cooperation, injecting new momentum into China-Malaysia economic and trade development.
Promoting Cultural Exchange and Experience Sharing
On January 15, He Ping, President of the Malaysia-Northwest China Chamber of Commerce, led representatives from BHO Company to visit the Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on strengthening chamber cooperation and facilitating business exchanges.

High-Quality Development in the Catering Industry
On February 4, Gao Haoyun, President of the Malaysia Chinese Restaurant Association, led an association delegation to visit the Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association for a discussion with President Sun Jianwei and chamber members.
President Gao introduced the current market landscape, development trends, and potential opportunities in Malaysia’s Chinese catering industry. He emphasized the importance of deeper collaboration between businesses from both regions to optimize supply chains and foster brand internationalization. He stated that the association would actively build a platform to facilitate cooperation between Chinese and Malaysian catering enterprises.
President Sun welcomed President Gao and his delegation, sharing insights on the chamber’s role in promoting China-Malaysia economic and trade cooperation and supporting Jiangsu enterprises in investing in Malaysia. He highlighted that the catering industry is not only an economic link but also a crucial vehicle for cultural exchange. He expressed hope that both sides could tackle industry challenges together by sharing technology and linking markets, ultimately enhancing global competitiveness.

Strengthening Cooperation in the Construction Sector
On February 5, the Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association hosted a visit from its Permanent Honorary President, Chen Zhenghua, Chairman of Jiangsu Provincial Construction Group Co., Ltd. He led a delegation to discuss collaboration in the construction and infrastructure sectors with President Sun Jianwei.
As a leading construction enterprise in Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Provincial Construction Group has extensive experience in overseas project contracting and real estate development. Chairman Chen stated that the visit aimed to enhance strategic alignment with Malaysian businesses and explore cooperation opportunities in smart cities, green buildings, and other fields.
President Sun highly recognized the international capabilities of Jiangsu Provincial Construction Group. He proposed joint projects and technical exchanges as ways to drive mutually beneficial development in the infrastructure sector. On February 12, Gu Minghua, Chairman of Suzhou Dahua Group and Executive Vice President of the Jiangsu Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association, visited the Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association for an in-depth discussion with President Sun Jianwei.
During the meeting, Chairman Gu provided an overview of Suzhou’s business environment, the overseas expansion of its enterprises, and Dahua Enterprises’ competitive advantages and strategic plans in Southeast Asia. He expressed his hope to gain valuable market insights through the chamber to support Suzhou enterprises in Malaysia.
President Sun warmly welcomed Chairman Gu and shared the chamber’s experiences in fostering China-Malaysia economic cooperation and assisting Jiangsu enterprises in investing in Malaysia.
