On February 19, Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association was invited to attend the Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Huazong) 2024 Annual Spring Festival Gathering. The event officially began with the presence of the Chief Guest, Minister of Housing and Local Government Nga Kor Ming, and the Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia, Ouyang Yujing. Numerous representatives and leaders of Chinese organizations were also invited to participate in the grand occasion.
Sun Jianwei, President of the Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association was one of the main table guests at the event. He participated in the traditional “Lo Hei” ceremony alongside other distinguished guests. After the welcome address by Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima (Dr.) T.C.Goh JP, President of Huazong, Minister Nga Kor Ming and Chinese Ambassador Ouyang Yujing also greet to the stage to deliver their speeches.
General Deputy President Chen Quanqing, Sun Keqiang, and Lü Yongxiang represent the association to attend the event. During the gathering, they greets each other and engaged in warm discussions with other guests, including Tan Sri Lim Hock San, President of the Federation of Hokkien Associations of Malaysia, Dato’ Sri Hong Laixi, President of The Federation Of Malaysian Chinese Surnames Associations, Xuan Zhuhong, President of the Malaysian Federated San Kiang Association, Zhou Jiayi, General Manager of China Power Construction Group’s Asia-Pacific Headquarters. The Spring Festival Gathering is one of the most significant celebrations in Malaysia, and attendees could feel the local Chinese community’s emphasis on the importance of preserving Chinese festivals and traditional culture.
