Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association’s New Year Festival Dinner was successfully held

On Sunday, January 28, Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association held a New Year Festival Dinner at Sen Peng Hall, Wisma Chines Chamber, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur. That evening, prominent figures from various sectors and member representatives gathered to celebrate the arrival of the Lunar New Year together.

During the dinner, President Sun Jianwei delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing gratitude to the members for their support and extending best wishes for the new year. He highlighted the achievements of the association over the past year and outlined the future development direction. President Sun also emphasized the importance of business cooperation between China and Malaysia, encouraging members to work together to make greater contributions to the friendly relations between the two countries.

Next, Tan Sri Dato’ Low Kian Chuan, President of The Associated Chinese Chambers Of Commerce And Industry Of Malaysia (ACCCIM), delivered a speech on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce, offering
heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected President Sun Jianwei. He expressed his commitment to strengthening ties with Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association, enhancing cooperation and development between Malaysia and Jiangsu, and expressed confidence that the association would enter a period of even greater prosperity.

Following this, the dinner emcee invited YB Liew Chin Tong, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Investment, Trade, and Industry Malaysia, to deliver a speech. In his address, Minister Liew praised Jiangsu for its leading role in economic development and its significant achievements in cultural and social progress. He emphasized the close economic and trade cooperation between China and Malaysia, expressing hope that, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, they would create even better relations, enhance mutual understanding, and contribute to a second economic surge for Malaysia.

The dinner also featured the presence of several notable figures, including Zheng Xuefang, Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia; Zhang Ge, Attache of the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia; Tan Sri Lim Hock San, President of the Federation of Hokkien Associations of Malaysia; Tan Sri Datuk Richard Cham Hak Lim, Chairman of the Selangor Turf Club; Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Kum, CEO and Managing Director of Mah Sing Group; Tan Sri Teo Chiang Kok, Director of Bandar Utama City Corporation; Lu Guoxiang, President of
Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce; Xuan Zhuhong, President of the Malaysian Federated San Kiang Association, along with various other prominent figures from the social and business sectors.

The dinner began with the traditional Malaysian Chinese Lunar New Year “Lo Hei” ceremony. Jiangsu Yanghe Distillery Co., Ltd. generously sponsored the Dream Blue M3 Crystal Edition as the wine served throughout the evening. During the delicious meal, attendees enjoyed a series of spectacular performances, including dragon and lion dances, as well as dance and singing acts. These performances not only enriched the evening’s festivities but also showcased the depth and richness of Chinese culture.
